| JOHNNY CASH I went to France to search for a dog who could repair my broken heart. Cachou decided that he was going to be that dog. I never met a dog with such a huge heart. As our relationships grows stronger, I find myself wondering if I could ever be loved more by a dog. Now he is my Johnny Cash, he was named after this country singer because of the simular depth of love found in both the singer and my boy. He is the type of dog who would move mountains and claim the stars in heaven for me. He has extream food and toy drive. He loves to work but his love increases his determination to reach beyond all my exspectations. He is my man in black... my Johnny Cash-ou. Johnny Cash-ou is too young for OFA. He will have all his health cerf. completed when he reaches the required age. |

I believe the selection of a dog's name is very important, because dogs tend to live up to their names. My dogs are my passion... a passion that my husband will never fully understand. Music is my husband's first love and I will never fully comprehend the full depth his obsession for music. All my dogs are named after legendary music bands that influenced and forced new evolution in music. Like the bands my dogs are named after, I hope that my dogs will as be a positive influence in the evolution of the working groenendael/ belgian sheepdog. Each name combines the love of music and dogs.
My Cash was named after a man that shaped and influenced many genres of music. Unlike many bands, Johnny Cash was a constant player and influence in the country and music scene. Like this legendary artist, my Cash has the passion and heart to conquire any barrier. All it took was to look into his eyes once.... I knew that I found my Johnny Cash dog.
Johnny Cash was a Grammy Award -winning American country singer- songwriter. Cash is widely considered to be one of the most influential American musicians of the 20th century. Cash was known for his deep, distinctive voice, the boom-chick-a-boom or "freight train" sound of his Tennessee Three backing band, his demeanor, and his dark clothing, which earned him the nickname " Man In Black" From his early days as a pioneer of rockabilly and rock and roll in the 1950s, to his decades as an international representative of country music, to his resurgence to fame in the 1990s as a living legend and an alternative country icon, Cash influenced countless artists. In a career that spanned almost five decades, Cash was the personification of country music to many people around the world. Cash was a musician who was not tied to a single genre. He recorded songs that could be considered rock and roll, blues, rockabilly, folk, and gospel, and exerted an influence on each of those genres. His pioneering contribution to the genre has also been recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.He received the Kennedy Center Honors in 1996. Cash stated that his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1980 was his greatest professional achievement. In 2007 Johnny Cash was inducted into the Hit Parade Hall of Fame
